Hello crafty friends.
Today is day 4 of my Growing In Unity post. Time just fly's right on by.
I hope you are enjoying my post and found some inspiration.
Today is Thursday that means there is a blog hop going on at the Unity blog.
Take some time and see what the Design team has to share this week.
I can say there are always wonderful projects.
For my projects today I choose two different unity stamp sets.
and
I love these two sets because of the silhouette images.
I can have large stack of patterned paper which never holds the pattern I want.
So I find myself making my own backgrounds.
For both cards I used my Gelatos on mixed media paper to make my background.
The mixed media paper is very tough. I allows you to work with different mediums and water.
I colored the Gelato colors onto the paper and then used my finger to blend the colors around.
I then use a baby wipe the finish the blending.

For the Wish card,I stamped and embossed the dandelion in black.
The sentiment is stamped and embossed with a blue glitter embossing powered.
It is hard to see the sparkle in the picture.
For this card, I stamped the flowers in purple and used a purple metallic embossing powder.

And look.... some patterned paper found a home...LOL
Be sure to leave a comment.
At the end of the week I will be choosing two random comments
to receive a bag of 25 random stamps from Unity.
Comment daily because you don't know what day that winners will be chosen from
Here is a link if you missed any of my post.
I will be back tomorrow with my final post from Unity.
Thanks for stopping by
