Frazzled Cat Valentine

Do you ever just see an image and fall in love instantly.   I did.

At the last Scrapbook Expo Stamps by Judith and Heather were a new addition to the exhibitors.
I understand they have been around for many years.
Let me say... I can't wait to pick up some more images because they are so wonderful.

I fell in love with this Frazzled Cat.   He just cracks me up.
And since we are owned by two cats, you can see where my heart is.

I colored him using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.   He is many layers of color from yellow to orange... and a touch of pink

His food dish is also from Judith and Heather.   They also have accessories... like shoes and hats.

The sentiment is from a Simon Say's Stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Sunday!!!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend

I have another Valentine to share.

For this card I used an image from Pretty Cute Stamps.

I colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers.
My son said he needed spots.

Inside it says Dog on it.... be my valentine.

Stenciling

I have been fascinated with stencils.
So much that I have been collecting them for some time now.
Using them.... well...... you know..  Many are in mint condition

When I saw this challenge from STAMPlorations.  I decided it was time to get some ink on a stencil.

It is such a beautiful card.  I really love the variations in colors.

For mine.... I went Valentines.

I used the Hearts Tumbled stencil.
I choose to use distress ink since this card will be going to a children's hospital

It took me a couple of attempts to figure out how not to smug the image and get the color blend I was looking for.

The Happy is die cut from black card stock.
I masked off part of a Happy Valentines day sentiment to only stamp the last two words.

I will have more to share so stop back in when you have a chance

Hola Valentine

Hola,

That is about as much Spanish that I know....LOL

I'm back to share another Valentine card.

For this card I was inspired by the Paper Smooches monthly challenge,
Choose 4 colors + a Neutral (white, black, cream, kraft, and grey)

I went with Black, Pink Red, Green and then White is the neutral

I have this great stamp set from Paper Smooches.
I picked it up for the Kokopelli that was in the set.
But I also love the southwest image that came with it too.

Here I stamped the cactus and then lined up my pattern paper to the bottom of the image.   That way I  could adjust the paper to my liking.

Every good cactus needs a face and to be colored green

I used the paper smooches balloon die to cut the balloon in pink and then stamped it with the XOfrom the set.   I actually inlay-ed the balloon by cutting into the white card stock with the die.

The Hola greeting is also from this set.
I felt that it needed some shading in the background of the sentiment.

The with card stock is 5.25" x 4" and is mounted on a pink card.

Inside it say's Lets Fiesta, Valentine.

Hope you like him.

Valentine's Cards

Hello all,

Hope life is treating you well.

I have been very busy catching up from the holiday's.
Now that I have completed that task,
I have started making valentine cards and want to start sharing them with you.

Today's card is just a simple CAS design.

I used the Greeting Farm Blush heart stamp in red and blue dye ink.
I then used the Happy Valentines day sentiment from Hero Arts in black dye ink.
I decided that a few small hearts would fill in some space.
That tiny heart if from one of my Lawn Fawn sets.

I then mounted the 5.25" x 4" white card stock onto a Kraft colored card

I love how it turned out so I copied myself and made a few more.

Thanks for checking in.
