Happy Hump day.
This is my day 3 post for the Unity Stamp Company.
As always the fun week is just flying by.
I loved reading all of your comments about where you live and the temperature.
It sounds like we are all HOT.
Today I would like to find out what kind of stamp image can you not resist?
Let me know in your comments.
For me.... Flowers.
I love flowers. I photograph them every where I go.
My hubby rolls his eyes sometime...LOL
I think it run in the family, because when I was looking through some old photos
I found a lot of flower pictures that my father had taken.
Unity has some wonderful floral images and I could buy every one of them.
My project today is one of my all time favorite images.
It is from the Angiegirl collection.
The set is called Booming-Rebecca Girl.
I've used this image many times.
I've been trying to get way from the traditions rectangular card.
I get stuck making 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" size cards because you can get two from
one piece of card stock and it is easy to fine envelopes.
Recently I've been trying squares.
This one is 5" x 5"
I might suggest buying the envelopes first.
That way you know what size to start with.
I think my envelopes are 5-1/4" square.
I've been working on my skills of mixing patterns
and felt very confident that these patterns would all work well together.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used watercolors to color the image.
I again broke out the word dies to add the sentiment.
I'm really starting to love these dies.
Remember there is two prized to be won.
Leave a comment on each of my 2018 GIU post.
I will select a couple lucky winners at the end of the week.
I will post the lucky peeps to the blog next week.
You don't have to comment every day but it does increase your odds.
If you missed a day I put links below

Cute card. I need to venture out from the A2 cards I usually make.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, my favorite Unity stamp!! Wonder why?! hehe I love the beautiful coloring you did and the wonderful mix of patterned paper. Sometimes I have to make my own envelope for a card I've made because I forget about needing an envelope for an odd size card.
ReplyDeleteSimply darling! Love this stamp and gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty card! I don't do many square cards but they look awesome!

It's so hard to choose which type of stamp I like the most but right now I have to say people stamps. Your card is really great. I am going to try to make different sizes. I love the layout and of course the stamp is awesome.
ReplyDeleteHot here in Norway. Love this. I am hopeless with matching patterns. This is lovely. Hugz
ReplyDeletePretty card! I love the colors and the stamp you used! Love square cards!
ReplyDeleteI love your happy colors. Nice job😁
ReplyDeleteI just stamped a card yesterday with Blooming! Your colours are great- I love the shades in her dress. I have several sizes of envelopes, but never change up my card sizes- and I should! Great tip in doing so.
ReplyDeleteVery nice card. Those different sizes really open up design possibilities as you have shown with your square card. I am drawn to outdoor stamps.
ReplyDeleteThose bright colors work so well for this. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove your bright card with the mix of papers. My go-to stamps seem to be birds, I did not realise how many I had!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card. Your mix of images, patterns and colours are great. I tend to go for stamps with cutesy animals, birds, fish etc, but am beginning to feel dissatisfied and am looking for more flowers and gorgeous patterns. I think this is why I'm becoming more and more drawn to Unity stamps. Thanks for another fun post, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I have this stamp. My favorite stamps are the Angie Girl.Pam Foy
