Unity Blog Hop




Good Morning.

Hope you are all enjoying your summer.

My family just returned from a trip to Vegas and Palm Springs.
Of course we  chose to visit during a heat wave.  When else would we go???  LOL.
We experienced temperatures of 121 degrees.
It will be a trip we will always remember.

Today I am joining the Unity Blog Hop.

For my project I chose the pretty flower arrangement from the
A Summer Story KOM





I just love the country feel of the image.




Continuing with my goal to use up scraps,
 I used papers that I made my Father's Day cards with this year
I thought they worked with the country theme.

The celebrate is a die cut that I stacked 4 time to give it the dimension I wanted for the card.

    I have so many scraps -- thank you for the inspiration on using them. I really love how the "celebrate" die cut pops. I love this KOM...so many wonderful images. Fantastic card!

    I love the layering. I usually only use 2 layers. It does have a country feel to it. I love this card.

    I love the color combinations, browns and almost anything make a great "country feel " for a card . The mason jars are the best !

    Goodness, I love your card so much! Thank you for using a past KOTM. I tend to forget about stamps that I already own at home. This kit was the push that I needed to be a KOTM subscriber, and I've been going strong ever since! Thank you for your inspiration!

    Oh Vegas in the Summer fun times. I've gone in July 2 years ago, was supposed to go this week for a convention but didn't. Love this layout. Great colors and layering. Thanks so much for being a GIU gal!
