25 Days of Christmas

Happy November my friends.  Can you believe it.  Christmas will be here in no time.   This is my first post this because I spent last weekend at the Scrapbook Expo.  A great time was had by all (ok... maybe all).  I took some wonderful classes and came home with some wonderful new crafty items.  

Today I came across a fun and inspiring blog that I want to share with you.  It is ...At Studio D.  Damaris is hosting a 25 days of Christmas blog starting Monday, November 11th.  Sounds like there will be lots of inspiration and some prizes along the way from some spectacular sponcers .  So take a minute to check out her blog.  

Crafter's Compainion - Challenge Post #2

I am having a crafty weekend.  I have been competing projects right and left.  I know 3 post in one day is a record for me.   

I once again have another card for the Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog.  The challenge is Fall colors.  You still have a couple day's to get your project in.  They are giving away a great prize this month.

This time I used my Strawberry Kisses - Flower Power stamp as the focal piece.

Tim's tags of 2012

So I got brave enough to try this months tag from Tim Holtz.  

It really did not turn out as I had planned.  I had to redo the Boo color because the black was just too dark for me.  I also got a chance to use my new Fiskars squeeze punch.  The kitty is one of the Holiday punches just released.

If time allows I will try next months and see if I can do better.

Greeting Farm

This is my second post of the day.  I have been a busy card maker .  Over at Splendid Stamping with The Greeting farm they have 2 challenges every week.  One is Double take Tuesday and the other is Farm Fresh Friday.  I have made cards for both.

The Double Take Tuesday Challenge this week is a color challenge

Any one who knows me say say that I am obsessed with Purple.... But I always seem to wear green.  So, this is an easy challenge for me.

The Farm Fresh Friday Challenge is Clean and Simple.

October Crafter's Companion Challenge

October Challenge is Fall colors over at the Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog.    What a perfect way to showcase this fun S.W.A.L.K. - Best Pals Sta,p.  I received a pad of the Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted card stock and used it for the card base.  This card stock was fun to use because I sanded the dots to  expose the core color.
